Over 1,000 law enforcement leaders across the country signed a letter to Congress urging them to increase investments in evidence-based programs for children and youth to reduce juvenile crime, create safe communities, and forge a strong, productive nation. The letter specifically calls on Congress to prioritize funding to expand access to existing early care and education (ECE), out-of-school time (OST), and juvenile justice programs.
