The ambitious goal of the Institute for Child Success (ICS) is to “create a culture that facilitates and fosters the success of all children” in South Carolina. Our singular focus on systems change sets ICS apart. Rather than being a direct service provider, ICS seeks to create exponential change across South Carolina by improving the systems that foster the health and education of young children, prenatal to age five. ICS supports service providers, policymakers, and business leaders focused on early childhood development, healthcare, and education — all to coordinate, enhance, and improve efforts for maximum effect. Working with partners like you, we are making a difference! Over the past year, our advocacy initiatives have amplified policymaker and corporate leader understanding of the link between early childhood outcomes and economic prosperity. Likewise, ICS research continues to expand the early childhood community’s knowledge base, challenging all stakeholders to collectively explore innovative methods for achieving our shared objectives. We invite you to learn about last year’s accomplishments and ICS plans for the upcoming year in the pages that follow. Thank you for your commitment to the success of South Carolina’s children.
As a nonpartisan, private research and policy organization, the Institute for Child Success is a relatively new type of organization for South Carolina.Read Publication >>
