Caitlin graduated from Furman University in May 2019 with a degree in Biology. She pursued coursework that focused on the role of social determinants in health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Caitlin also honed her advocacy skills on Capitol Hill, training with a lobbying firm and meeting with senators to discuss and advocate for undergraduate research in underrepresented states such as SC.
In her free time, she’s a YoungLife leader at Mauldin High School. Caitlin is applying to medical school for the 2020-2021 school year and hopes to incorporate what she learns through her fellowship into her future work as a physician.
