Webinar: What Works for Third Grade Reading? Advancing the NC Pathways to Grade-Level Reading Measures of Success in Your Community

October 30 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Hosted by the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation

In September, the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation and the Institute for Child Success in collaboration with BEST NC released a groundbreaking new resource, What Works for Third Grade Reading, a collection of 12 working papers that address whole-child, birth-to-age-eight factors that support children’s optimal development and improve reading proficiency. The working papers are part of a collection of resources to support and advance the work of the NC Pathways to Grade-Level Reading (Pathways) initiative.

Join us for a webinar, on October 30 from 11:30am to 12:30pm (Eastern), to learn more about how these working papers, along with other Pathways resources, can assist communities in improving outcomes for young children.

Presenters include:
  • Mandy Ableidinger, Policy and Practice Leader, NC Early Childhood Foundation
  • Dr. Janice Gruendel, Senior Fellow, Institute for Child Success
  • Keller Anne Ruble Associate Director, Policy Research, Institute for Child Success
  • Tracy Zimmerman, Executive Director, NC Early Childhood Foundation
