Join us for a day of interactive panel discussions, hands-on arts experiences,  and workshops exploring how integrating the arts can strengthen the social and emotional development of young children. Lunch will be provided

Featured Keynote: Ellen Galinsky is the Chief Science Officer and Executive Director of Mind in the Making at the Bezos Family Foundation. With more than 100 books and reports on topics  relating to the science of children’s learning, Ms. Galinsky is the author of the best-selling Mind in the Making: The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs, Ask The Children,  and The Six Stages of Parenthood.

Creativity Connects: Arts in Early Learning brings together community leaders in five diverse cities to spark a dialogue about early learning through the arts. The project, funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, is being implemented in partnership between Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, a national leader in early childhood arts integration; and the Institute for Child Success (ICS) an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit research and policy organization.
