Nurturing Developing Minds Conference and Research Symposium is a regional continuing professional development conference that attracts a wide array of professional participants and provides an interactive learning and networking opportunity for a broad, interconnected workforce. The Institute for Child Success will be partnering with the PRISMA Health Children’s Hospital to sponsor the Early Childhood Research and Implementation Symposium in conjunction with the conference.

Registration is available for both days, or for Thursday or Friday only. We are pleased to again offer a discounted rate for full-time students.

Professional Development

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The University of South Carolina School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Conference sessions have also been approved by the South Carolina Infant Mental Health Association (SCIMHA) and SC Endeavors (formerly Center for Child Care Career Development, CCCCD) for inclusion in their professional development curriculum. Prisma Health is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  Prisma Health maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

Accommodations are available at the conference hotel – Embassy Suites Verdae Boulevard, Greenville, South Carolina 29607 For the discounted group rate of $144, please call the hotel at 1-864-676-9090 and mention the Nurturing Developing Minds Conference by January 30. Free parking is available on site and airport shuttle service can be arranged with the hotel.

ICS and Prisma are working with South Carolina Program for Infant/Toddler Care to ensure the conference is Breastfeeding Friendly. A private pumping space, including refrigerator, will be available with advance sign up. Please reach out to Megan Carolan for more details.
