Mary is passionate about building equitable systems and fostering social justice through policy. As the Chief Equity Officer, Mary leads our impact investing and equity and inclusion portfolios. She formerly led our Social Innovation Fund-supported Pay for Success (PFS) initiative.
Mary has conducted multiple feasibility analyses for state and local governments across the country. Throughout all of her work she advises on the creation and implementation of anti-racist strategies that are inclusive and reflective of the diverse populations ICS serves. Previous work includes a role in health policy and consulting on housing policy, day care compliance, and breakfast in the classroom projects.
Mary earned a BS degree and a Certificate in Justice and Peace Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She went on to complete an MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management at Milano–The New School for Urban Policy and Management in New York City.
